HOW TO WORK THE SOIL (HUMAN HEARTS) IN SMALL TOWN MISSION WORK

1. Be visible daily in the community even if you have to buy an eraser and pencil at an office store or purchase an ice cream cone at McDonnell's.

2. Be yourself and friendly to everyone. Don't be a phoney person using powerful, frightening and prayerful words trying to impress your listeners.

3. Try to do something polite or a needed service for people in your community without being asked and expected payment.

4. Play creatively and gently with your children or grandchildren in and around your residence.

5. Become involved in a public agency, institution, or program such as the school system, recreation center, or library.

6. Be there when others are hurting and need your emotional and spiritual support.
